Ah I remember those days of filming around Famagusta and Karaolos camp. There is one scene where the Cypriot actor Nikos Pantelides is donating a chicken for the refugees, somewhere in the background is a bunch of us Famagustians.

And by the way, Paul Newman and the other actors did not stay in the walled city, they lived in the Constantia hotel near the beach. Most of the filming was around the walls and much of it in the Karaolos camp which was half way between the city and the Salamis ancient site.
