There was once a Turk, a TC and a GC

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

There was once a Turk, a TC and a GC

Postby DT. » Sun Sep 28, 2008 8:44 am

From phileleftheros today. A settler who had illegaly entered Cyprus has attacked and stolen from a TC shopkeeper in Larnaca a purse with the shopkeepers take of the day. A nearby GC watching this had chased the Turkish settler, immobilised him and recovered the stolen purse. The Turkish settler is now in prison.

:D warms your heart, doesn't it VP?

Yep, I saw it late last night on RIKSAT. The TC has a foreign exchange business in Larnaca and was closing up, with 12000 Euro in his bag.

You would think the Euro would have put an end to these small money exchange buraus, but then I thought of all the nearby countries and their currencies, probably enable the guy to make a living.

Britons' irrational attachment to their national currency is good news for these establishments.

VP, you know that neighbours in Cyprus are fully aware of each other and their qualities.

you can dismiss this incident, but your cynicism is more revealing about your nature, as a person.
