North Cyprus university calls for UK Turks to study there

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

You've got to remember that Oracle has a severe and chronic disability with the English language : she's incapable of distinguishing only and some, any and every, and other sets of quantities. So in a Pythonesque style if an article were to say 'Turkish Cypriots encouraged to register at university' Oracle would read it as saying 'university only accepts Turkish Cypriots'. The result is that a university which actually has an open admissions policy, such as EMU which has a very wide diversity of students, is transformed in Oracle's twisted mind into a racist institution. The problem is not EMU's, the problem is entirely in Oracle's inner mental turmoil.

The coprophagous CopperLine, unfettered by a lack of opinion on the thread matter, cannot resist making another "meaningful" post to show us he has visited, by spraying his scent .....

Perhaps we have insulted his Alma mater

EASTERN Mediterranean University (DAU) rector Professor Dr Ufuk

EASTERN Mediterranean University (DAU) rector Professor Dr Ufuk Taneri has called on UK based Turkish Cypriots to study in North Cyprus, saying that the University has a wide range of courses and qualifications to suit everyone.
The Professor made the call last Friday at a press conference held as the TRNC Representative’s Office in Central London.
She also announced that there are plans to work with selected British universities in order to help students achieve their aims and gain excellent qualifications which are recognised all over the world.
“The four years a student spends at university can be the most important of their lives and we are inviting students to come and study with us. We can offer excellent benefits and courses.”
She added that UK Turkish Cypriots would not need to pass entrance exams as A Levels would be acceptable to gain entry to DAU and that yearly fees which include accommodation and food are just $10,000. Prof Dr Ufuk said there was also the possibility of students being granted scholarships if they were academically gifted.
“We believe that students who study with us gain self confidence and DAU welcomes students from all over the world. We have 15,000 students from 68 different countries as well as over 1,000 lecturers from 36 different countries.”
