Ufuk means Horizon in Turkish....
Which reminds me of a joke...

A Husband and wife go house hunting in Sydney....The guy's name is Muvaffak...
They are accompanied by the real estate agent who doesn't speak any Turkish...After the inspection the agent is not amused to hear the wife tell the husband,"Muvafak,bu mutfak (this kitchen) cok ufak (is very small)... :)

Now you all understand what I mean about the sound of the Turkish language ....

Yes. Music to my ears.  and perhaps to a couple of hundres million more. And you were saying..........?

Two of the words are borowed words from Arabic. FYI.

This must be one of the few (only :? ) remaining "Universities" that has such a "racist" centred enrollment.

Maybe it should be boycotted by British universities ..... :?

After all this goes against AUT principles:

The struggle to maintain academic freedom whenever it is under threat is one that AUT will always support ...

Thats rich coming from you Oracle. Perhaps you should read the article again. If you do visit, you will see students from all over the Mediterranean , Middle east etc. It is folly to accuse them of racism. Try harder next time.

Remainds me of another joke:

An Englishman walks into the Turkish baths for a steam bath and when when the attendant, Ali, asks him how he is he says "Ali, me sick, sick". While he lies naked. Ali creeps up behind him and 'obliges'. The Englishman in shock screams out "Oooooh f*ck!" to which Ali answers "ufuk, mufuk, bou der shansen".

Is it set up on ethnically cleansed, illegally occupied territory?

I think so!

I dont think so PM. What they see is the need for the TCs in the diaspora to remember their heritage, learn Turkish, customs etc. and get their qualifications at the same time. I dont think that finance comes into the equation.

That was not what you said above. What you said was, ""racist" centred enrollment "".

At the very least, kindly take a look at the title of the report .... and since I brought in further proof, all you said was, "that's not what you said before" ... well it was in addition to what I said before ... hence further proof .... and why it was different to what I said before.

Really you are just not cut out for sustained thought ...
