My daughter (14) has had her own blog for a year now. Her blog 'friends' make money out of google ads. The key issue here of course is knowing how to write these to make sure you can maintain personal security.

In fact many people say blogs are the replacement for CV's. Many of my 'professional' friends now have them as a business tool.

Many university courses my daughter is looking at say a blog is a requirement. They really are the way forward. What better way is there to see what a person is about?
