I heard a very powerful explosion coming from the direction of Limassol town centre last night at roughly 3.45. Does anybody know what caused it?

The strange thing is that the same thing happened one night about three weeks ago. Yet, there was nothing in the news about it.

I heard there was one near Ay Athanasios area but around 1am'ish and was apparently something to do with a drug argument.

3.50 am a home made explosive device exploded under the car of a 21 year old Limassol resident. No injuries, no damage to surrounding buildings and not much damage to the car itself. Another one of those "settling of accounts" among business associates. Maybe they are "developers" arguing over environmental policy!

Any newspapers report it...It seems quite an important thing to me...Bombs going off in an EU country..... :shock:
