Yes, back in the heady days before the dot com bubble burst, many websites were changing hands, some for phenomenal sums of money. I know for example that the translation website www.aquarius.net, at the time one of the most popular portals among freelance translators for finding work, was sold. The new owners tried to turn it into a fee-based service whereas it was previously free, and everybody went elsewhere.

Ok, and that's Cypriot is it? Sorry I ask, but it's just that I've been in Cyprus IT since 2001 and I haven't heard of any sites being bought or sold so I’m quite curious about this.

You are asking about Cyprus? That is a different kettle of fish. I don't know.

Yes, this site is from a Cypriot man that wants to spend some more time with his family. It is kinda new, but it has a good traffic and future.

I did not heard anyone buying a website, (in Cyprus ) but ok, this is another story.
So i want to be careful if I will make this investment, that's why I asked you ! :)

You can add another 15 years in Australia to my tally if it makes you happier... :)
