You are correct , they do not speak for all T/Cs just as GR , Oracle and the ...late Paphitis ,- I hope he comes back -do not speak for all G/Cs , any more than I or you speak for all Cypriots , although I would like to think that many moderated peace loving genuine Cypriots who love Cyprus above all , do share my sentiments and my dreams of a conflict free Cyprus where my grandchildren , ta mikra Kipreopoula , and everybody elses children and grandchildren , grow up in a peaceful and fear free environment , one reason why I consider the demands of Turkey of a guarantor status to be an unwelcome incursion into the future of our new generations. I left the UK to give my children a better life in my country the TRNC, where they would develop a sense of belonging amongst their own people the Turkish Cypriots.

You are totally right the Cyprus you refer to is a GC state to which we do not belong but as you are fully aware if you give away freebies you cannot blame people for taking them as the benefits of these actions are being repped by the "RoC" otherwise how could they cliam to represent all Cypriots if they did not provide the bare minimums.

Turkey will be here for as long as there is no solution, negotiate them away and you may stand a chance otherwise they will stay put and maintain the peace like they have done for the last 34 years detering any stupid moves by the GCs.

Before the Turkish Conquest in 1570-1571 , oppression of the Greek Orthodox inhabitants of Cyprus by the Catholic Latins (Lusignan and Venetian) was very severe.
