Talat! What a waste of time!

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Bananiot the dialect has definately changed in daily business circles Turkey Turkish is more wide spread then you think. Andros has made many valid points which should not be dismissed. Agrre Partition is where we are headed like it or not, both sides are at dispair and do not believe in the current talks.

So does Greek Viewpoint, we speak more the modern Greek version of it but this is not to say that Cypriot Greek is dead. As to agreed solution, I can assure you that the vast majority of people are against it and do not be mislead by a handfull of forumers who do not represent the public opinion anyway.

Bananiot the number of more educated Turks in the TRNC are increasing in the Private and Public sector eg the head of the central bank here is from Turkey, you have to adjust your language to ensure you are understood and a more refined version of Turkish is used, the television we watch is Turkish is only natural that after 34 years we will slowly move towards a Turkey Turkish, if wse had of built a united Cyprus we would all probably be speaking 3 languages.

I doubt it very much the EU will give part of its territory to Turkey. How they move them out is another thing. However, economic, social and cultural embargoe can work wonders.
