Bananiot wrote:Zan, the persons who in the name of Greekness have raped and then slained Turkish Cypriot girls in 1964 in Omorphita, still live today and are waiting in the wings. I am always weary of people who advertise their Greekness because this is not for a good cause. They are a disgace to the proper Greeks but as I said before, they are merely barbarians that have learned Greek.

my what ever god they believe in forgive them and others like them Bananiot, because I can't.

Tell that to the 1000's of GC's murdered and raped by your troops Zan.

Thats why I said and others like them DT.....   Shame you do not have the same feelings for those Greeks that did it to their own but you are happy to join in and blame their sins on the Turks instead.

Now how about answering the question that WAS put to you....Is Cyprus Greek?????????

i answered that question already zan. If you're gonna jump into a conversation please read up a little before you do. I believe Piratis is now waiting for Banana's feelings on this.

And by the way "and others" like them is a nice way of not needing to write Turks.

Now look who wants spoon feeding. I did not see any convincing statements from you on that point...I will have another look...

Cyprus is Cypriot. I am proud of my Greek ethnic background and culture but Cyprus is Cypriot.

I know DT, that is why I redirected Piratis to you. He and everyone else in this forum knows my views on this.

Look at the Cypriots that could've played and may still, who have graced the English Leagues in the last few years, not including Leon Osman and Colin Kazim Richards. I'm sure there are more out there.
Mustafa Izzet- (Leicester City- opted for Turkey), Kemal Izzet (Colchester Utd), Billy Mehmet (St Mirren), Jason Koumas (Wigan- opted for Wales), Jason Demetriou (Leyton Orient), Tarkan Mustafa (Barnet and Rushden and Diamonds). I went to school with Tarkan and believe he is the first Cypriot to score at Wembley. His team, Kingstonian won the F.A. Trophy. Though a non-league tournament, how many people on this forum can say that. There are Cypriots coming through and that have made it all across Europe. The scouting system obviously doesn't stretch to English shores. In all honestly how many TC's would want to play for Cyprus?
