What this shows is that we are split down the middle, well not quite cos milti had all the TCs vote for him since he speaks their language.

Milti needs to realise that there are a great more against his idea than he likes to believe and I don't see him talking them all round either.

Nothing has come back at me/us. This is between two GCs who disagree on a matter of principle. Miltis idea is the softly softly approach, which has got us nowhere in 34 years, and Paphitis approach is looking further than the talking options which are about to fail.

My question is, do we really have that much power (or know someone that has )that we could successfully pull something like this off?

Zan and VP are enough to make every GC think like Paphitis (well except a few of the weaker ones that is).

Sorry to resurrect this thread , but just a quick response to P's assumption that ALL T/Cs support my views. May I point out that I have challenged numerous T/C views by VP , Zan , BigAl , Soyer , Eric Day and by many others that expressed separatist and anti Cypriot views. I have challenged any Cypriot that posted and still posts views that are non constructive to the Cyprus cause and inflammatory , such as calling the T/Cs , who have been on this island for more 20 generations as "baggage" left over by the Ottoman invasion of 1571.
Indeed I do not expect all T/Cs , any more than I expect all G/Cs , to share my views, but I'm more than happy in the knowledge that the moderates , the true Cypriots , are comfortable with my expressed views.
Richard , our resident cook , who I believe should stick to making koupepia rather than expressing views on the Cyprob , posted that he considered my views to be hated by the T/Cs and to be an embarrassment to the G/Cs , let him give us some explanation as who exactly hates my views from the T/C side and who apart from the extremists on the G/C find my views embarrassing ! Failure to come forward and explain will receive the ...GR treatment (Don'T worry mate is firing blanks !!!!)
