See? You can't bring yourself round to say "yes"... admit it you want me here!

All over this forum GR , MY VIEWS ARE KNOWN BY ALL.
The extremists from both sides hate my guts , I hope that we two can meet in Cyprus , and that you may take my offer up this time and share a drink with me. I may surprise you at how similar we can be on the Cyprus issue .
PAY ATTENTION to what I'm saying here...
WHERE HAVE YOU POSTED A SOLUTION FOR CYPRUS?

WHERE HAVE YOU POSTED A SOLUTION FOR CYPRUS?
For starters let me once again state that I opposed the AP for many reason which I shall not cover again.
I support the efforts of our government in negotiating a solution that would at least be acceptable to the majority of Cypriot people , I will reject any solution proposals that fail to address the issue of the independence of Cyprus and under no circumstances should Turkey be given the legal right of intervention presumably with a new guarantor legal status.
The RoC must insist on guarantees from impartial powers such as the EU or the UN .
Compromises will have to be made from both sides in order to reach an amicable , if not entirely satisfying to the aspirations of both sides , solution that respects the rights of all Cypriots .
The issue of majorities and minorities , a rather thorny affair , has never unduly bothered me since I beleive that Cyprus is the country of all Cypriots hence majorities and minorities exist where diversity and division between the Cypriot people exists.
I have also stated on numerous occasions that it is my ambition to live long enough to see a Pancyprian party with a T/C as its party leader winning an election and becoming the President of Cyprus. I have always added the proviso that he or she must be committed to Cyprus and not to a foreign nation.
I'm not addressing the property issue at this stage since I beleive that an insistence on the return of all property to its rightful owners as against financial compensation will drag on indefinately .
The T/Cs must embrace the new Cyprus and insist that the overwhelming of settlers are repatriated with adequate financial incentives , and the G/Cs must appreciate that most of the settlers are blameless , poor and needy Anatolians who were promised a better standard of living in the occupied parts.
Finally , I have never , and I will never accept the partition of our island or the annexation of the occupied part by Turkey since I'm firmly convinced that such action would inevitably bring fresh conflict and war to our island. Like wise I shall never accept absorbtion of our island by Greece.
Give peace a chance !

Look, why don’t you start a FRESH thread and just call it…
“Miltiades’ solution to the Cyprus problem”
…and then explain, step by step, what this proposal is all about BEFORE running a poll that claims you have… "constructive views in solving the Cyprus Problem" (ie: a manifesto!) …otherwise those that have voted for you are null and void because they have NEVER seen your proposed solution so how can they possibly vote for it?

Whilst I acknowledge your commitment to a solution and to your unbeatable patriotism and to your obviously exceptionally heart-felt desire for a solution based on peace and prosperity for all Cypriots in a re-united Island and you have posted many, many times with this desire, being consistent throughout and imo you are of course to be applauded for this general ambition, one which I am sure is shared by many, many here, I do remain unsure as to your views, your approach, on a number of more substantive and specific issues that will go on to form the foundation of the equitable solution that so many here strive for, including your good self.
For instance and here I also note your oft-posted commitment to the New Europe, how do you square a BBF solution to the laws of the same EU regarding freedom of movement and right to enjoy one's property?
On other matters of substance I would ask where you stand on matters of security and territorial adjustments. What level of Turkish Army (if any at all of course) should remain post-solution and whether any notion of Guarantor-ship from outside Europe is acceptable to you? What level of territorial adjustment do you wish to see in the BBF?
These more substantive things have been discussed in other threads in recent days by members, including P, but where do you stand on them? I do not think discussions on these should be ignored or left to negotiators alone. It may also make the voting of those members who wish to take part in this poll be a little better informed.
