Did you hear the one about when the Hodja was invited to the chief judges banquet? Hodja was a poor guy. He turned up at the gate of the judges mansion in his tattered clothes and was turned away. He went to his neighbor and borrowed a fur coat and tried his luck again. This time he was allowed entry into the mansion and began his feasting. Every now and then he would shove a piece of meat or some fruit up the ample sized fur coat. The Agha, sitting next to him ask,"Hodja, what on earth are you doing?". The Hodja replied, "all this honour is for the fur coat I am wearing and not for me.".
I know it belongs to the joke section, but when you are around eveything is a joke.
