HE EUROPEAN Court of Human Rights (ECHR) might decide to strike out pending Greek Cypriot cases against Turkey once a political settlement is reached

This is why a solution should be a real solution that would actually solve the problems. If a true solution is reached then there will be no problems any more and therefore no need for ECHR.

If however we agree to something which is not the solution just because that somehting is the only currently available alternative, then we will end up with somehting worst than what we have now. If we agree for somehting like the Annan plan for example, not only the Turks will achieve the partition they wanted, but Turkey will be totally off the hook and they will not have to pay a cent.

And when those refugees will not get their properties back and they will not get any compensations, who are they going to sue? Who is going to be responsible?

Allowing Turkey to get off the hook without first returning our own lands under our own control would be the biggest mistake ever.

If they follow your stupid ideas then I will be the first to take the "RoC" and Greece to court for my losses.......

This island , in case you have not noticed , is and has been called Cyprus for many generations in fact for centuries . This island that you , whose motherland is Turkey according to you , IS MY MOTHERLAND AND THAT OF ALL TRUE CYPRIOTS WHO LOVE CYPRUS AND CONSIDER CYPRUS AS THEIR MOTHERLAND.
