Sweet Kafenes ... would you post your recipe, as that is my all time (since childhood) favourite and my mother is too (selectively) senile to tell me her recipe! :D

What is that dish...Any photos?????

Oracle, I will get the recipe from mum when I see her tomorrow.

Zan, sorry no pics, ate the last one. You might know it as Shamali (semolina cake with syrup).

Thanks Kafenes..Got it!!!

For example, how hot is setting 9 and 4 translated into Fahrenheit to Celsius.

I needs this info right now please, before noon today.

Thanks

Will this help??

Kafenes, you are an Angel..................thank you.

Leg of Lamb is all prepared to go into the oven very soon.! :D :D :D

That is so cruel! Kafenes' mouth is now watering for nothing...

Welcome back GR.!

The biggest Leg of Lamb one can buy here in switzerland seems to be around 2 1/2 Kg, so I don't think I can invite too many guests.

Sorry guys.

But I tell you what. I'll be thinking each and every one of you as if you were all here sitting with us at the dining table as we devour the "melt in your mouth" tender lamb. That's the best I can do for you all.!

Happy now.!

Howdy Kiks... and we’re talking about the FINEST lamb nurtured from the Swiss evergreen pastures, unlike the Cypriot ones raised in the thorny thickets who often end up eating each other’s droppings during a drought!

Well, this one is actually from Australia. I hope they had better things to eat down there than just droppings from their "friends".!!

It brings a new meaning to "Lets do Lunch".!

The lamb is almost ready, but the small piece I've tried already for quality control purpose only, was very ready. It's been in the oven on a slow cook for about 5 hours and the potatoes are about half way done (they went in much later).

Dinner is at 1700 GMT. :D

Why with that configuration, GR.?

The above gives an accurate statement in ratios of the TC's in the north now amongst the settlers as well as how the TC's get the "funny look" because we have a TC accent, experienced by our friend zan on his trip to the north recently.

Of course, the same can also be said about the same ratios and as to what happened back in 1963 with the GC's.

It must be a TC curse, that which ever we turn, we are 4:1 minority and a "black sheep" to somebody.!
