Went to sleep and woke up after 1 hour.

Some people just piss me off!

Not a happy chappy atm.

Not worth the stress at all. I used to take all this stuff very seriously but it's genuinely not worth it.

If I wasn't tired it would have been my pleasure to piss you off. Tho I think it's Bananiot who knocked you out tonight  .

Good night to ya.

NO. Bananiot is just a bloody idiot. Child's play.

I am talking about something else entirely unrelated.

You can always try to piss me off, but you would not stand any chance. The person who pissed me off is rather intelligent. This would be a prerequisite if someone was to piss me off, so off course this rules both you and Bananiot out.

Good night telletubbie.

Peter Andre was your suggestion ... unlike the Turks we do not idolise one representative since we have many ...

Emin is out on all accounts, as your sole contribution!

No one asked you to choose from our many outstanding GCs who should be substituted ....

Well Zan, the path to peace and reconciliation is full of booby traps. You have to make a personal decision whether you want to act provocatively or with sensitivity to your neighbours. My family came from mixed villages, we celebrated each others special occasions, Christmas and Easter wasn't unbearable for us nor Ramadan for them. We all have to make a decision about our personal behaviour towards our neighbours. Being Cypriot I believe you would make the correct decision according to your conscience,

Religion and the overall message of religion is one thing mehmet because it is a message of peace but what sort of message will be received in the case of Makarios or Attaturk.

Really Zan, you disappoint me. Do you start this thread just to provoke, you ask a question, you get some answers but not the ones you expected and then you post an article to seek to prove that some in our communities are intolerant of each others cultures.

We already know that.

And as the article went on to say he was subject to judicial procedures.

My point remains the same, what personal sacrifice are you prepared to make in the name of a peaceful united Cyprus? Personally I can stomach Makarios though not Grivas. Who knows we might get statues of Cat Stevens, George Michael, Peter Andre instead. For our part we can offer Tracy Emin and her artworks as a gesture of reconciliation.

I am just trying to be honest mehmet. I look at that mans face and see my childhood spoiled. That is my honest feeling and I am sure it will be the same for many more.

I am concerned though that many have not taken this question seriously....Is it because they don't want to think about it. That is dangerous. If we are to take peace on board then we have to "cross the t's and dot the i's". We have to look at everything with a critical eye and if we don't we are doing ourselves a disservice. Did South Africa just turn a blind eye to it's ghosts????

Welcome back Mehmet , and an excellent post. I'm afraid though you are wasting your time with Zan , you see he is besoted with Turkey , Enosis , TPap , Makarios , Grivas and any other euphemistically used description to prove to himself that only a total absorption of Cyprus by Turkey is worth anything. Unlike you and I who want a united Cyprus ruled by Cypriots for the benefit of Cypriots he wants his "motherland" Turkey to assimilate AND AT THE SAME TIME ELIMINATE THE T/Cs , all will be called TURKISH , NO T/C any more.

It is so easy for you to forget because everything you list are the things and persons that happened to us..The TCs......ut when i ask you to forget 1974 and the refugees and everything your lot suffered then it's a different story........You are the master of double standards and the seller of rubbish Chinese Knives.......You have no shame as a salesman and it shows in your attitude towards my people. you take the Greek line with your dismissals and then pretend to be the TCs friend.......Not everyone is fooled Miltiades.

Now back to the thread subject.......All I have seen is the TCs making concessions and the GCs denying nearly all of our possible contenders.....What a bloody cheek...

If one stays then all stay......There is to be no oppression.

I would like to see a great big statue of UB40......Those two TC brothers are a credit to us.... 8) 8) 8)
