VP , I have taken the liberty in correcting the usage of the " EU " , you forgot the commas mate , the law banning them is not till next year !
So the "ROC" President of the..so called .. " EU" for the next 6 months WILL UNTILL THEN BE SUBJECT TO INVERTED COMMAS !!!

No problems we can use inverted commas but the fact that we do not recognize the GC "RoC" doesnt mean the we do not recognize the EU. Your time at the head of the EU will be a waste of time anyway you will not be able to do anything to make us agree to anything and the EU will see how biased you really are.

Well at least " AFRICA " does !! (inverted commas do not denote non-recognition of this excellent newspaper !)
I bet you have a ROC passport !!

Hold on a minute there mate , what does "more widely recognised " mean ?
Are you suggesting that it is widely recognised but it will become MORE widely recognised !!!
Zan , recognition will not happen , you know why , because the T/Cs want to be part of a united Cyprus and take their rightful place next to their compatriots .

The rotating presidency going to Republic of Cyprus will simply mean that the EU processes in regards to the Cyprus Problem and Turkish accession negotiations will be put on hold for the duration of the presidency.

Let us not rush to miscalculate. The EU presidency is a routine thing and the agenda is preset, it is not something the presiding nation can affect in any way. The evaluation of a presidency is based on how well the presiding country manages this preset agenda. It is no big deal.
