What's a BBF?

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Ask Takis Hadjidemetriou ... if you cannot get to him, read his book.

You made the claim and I'm asking you. Are you saying that EDEK are responsible for the coup and the invasion?

Omirou has been caught out 2-3 times by Anastasiades during the election campaign of having made speeches against the BBF.

Anyway if the kind of objections that EDEK are making these days against the talks do not make them fall into your category of fascists then you're proving more flexible than I give you credit for.

I keep hearing that no one knows what BBF is so how the hell people can be against it is just madness. If it is a new system then it is whatever we make it. The talks will see to that. Even the extensive Annan Plan could not put a definition on it according to you lot. why don't you just say that you want only what you have now, as in the "RoC" and have done with it so that the world can see you are not interested in talks at all.

Thats the only part Christofias is doing really well so far. The PR of his pro-active pro-settlement pro-reconciliatory activity is priceless and has left Talat miles behind (especially after the Limnitis fiasco). If anyone's getting the blame if these talks fail its the usual gang of Erdogan, the Generals and the messenger boy Talat.

He is doing you proud then DT and if you are pleased with him then I know my prediction that this is just another ploy to win international support for your ill gotten "RoC" was right all along.....Thanks for confirming it... 8)

I cannot believe you DT. What is the official stance of EDEK on this issue? Are they now supporting something else? Were they not staunch supporters of Makarios and everything he did?

DT's analysis on what Christofias is doing merely reflects his own wishful thinking. Christofias knows that winning points will not save us. He knows that only a solution can save Cyprus and he is determined to go hard for it, with the help of the most responsible politician in Cyprus, Nikos Anastasiades. Many are sitting on the sidelines offering verbal support to Christofias but if the two leaders come anywhere near to signing something they will soon change their tune.

Thats exactly my point that they were stauch makarios supporters therefore anti-coupists and the last people that can be blamed for this mess.

We are now 30 years since makarios and his agreements and in a political debate in the last elections Anastasiades cought Omirou out by asking him why he had spoken out against the BBF in a couple of party meetings. His response was that if the BBF is anything close to the Annan plan then he is against a federation.

spin it anyway you like, your way, anastasiades way or Omirou's way. The important thing is that they hold an exact oppossite view of yours. By my experience here anyone who holds an oppossite view to you is a coupist/fascist war monger.
