WANTED: Wedding car! Classic or Roller etc.

Postby GG » Tue Sep 16, 2008 12:33 pm

My sister is getting married in 3 weeks in Cyprus, Adams Beach Hotel etc.

Being from the UK we are used to having nice wedding day cars.

I was wondering if anyone can help and point me in the right direction for a nice classic rolls or jag etc to use. I dont want it for free, i am happy to pay, I dont even mind wether they drive or I drive.

Any classic car clubs maybe?

Thanks

Why don't you have the wedding in the UK 'where you are used to having nice wedding cars'?

Well for many reasons:
1. majority of the family is in Cyprus
2. better weather
3. better venue
4. better price

.....I could make the list go on.

Whats the problem? You are gonna tell me you are offended that I say UK has nice wedding day cars and cyprus doesnt?

I already tried them but all they have is an old banger of a Rolls, but definitely thanks for the input.

That may be acceptable in the UK but I think it would look tacky and out of place in Cyprus.

How about a horse and carriage :D

Thanks oracle, but they said they wont do any distances more than couple miles. Which is quite frustrating as my wedding in London the horse and carriage will do 20 miles.

Why would you want to do 20 miles in a horse and carriage? :? .... that would take 4 or 5 hours; surely there's a honeymoon to look forward to
