As a new member, I took a little time in preperation for what I thought would be an interesting pastime before making any comments myself.
Unfortunately [having examined my OWN posts], I must conclude that the cancer which now pervades the forum has managed to bring out the WORST in me and THAT is unacceptable.
Very few members seem to be able to communicate without abusing each other, I have even demeaned myself by trying to attract some form of condemnation without success.
My name is Daniel, my wife's Florentina, therefore the name "Floda" appeared to be an appropriate "Nom de Plume", it didn't take long for your resident wag to discover that, read backwards, it became "Adolf" and therefore indicated that I must be a German.
Such is the level of intelligence to be found currently, a great pity since there were some interesting contributors in the recent past.
One final observation I would like to make, deals with the "Status" of members which is attained by the NUMBER of posts made rather than the QUALITY of them.
There is a member among you who is about to be elevated to the level of "Professor" on the basis that 3000 contributions have been made in the last 3 Months !!, positive proof if you care to look back over the [OFFENDING] contributions made by this member, of just how far the standards have slipped.
Professor of "Bollocksology" and those of your equal [in matters of serious debate], never mind the forum, put the kettle on and make your husband a cup of tea, you are spending far too much time submitting nonsense, get the broom out and clean up the place. IMHO
Oh, and goodbye, before the rot sets in !!.
