It won't come as a surprise to almost all here that some claim that the hotel that features in the Sun article has been stolen.

The Riverside Holiday Village Hotel in Karavas (aka "Alsancak") seems to bear a remarkable resemblance to number 50 on this list of dodgy hotels:-

Anyone know who the real owners are?

just like you are saying our villages like A??rda? ,bo?az ,p?narba?? ,zeytinlik and so on so .....so.....were all yours ....

one thing for you to remind around Lapitos to Vasilya TC's were living and they did have lands too .They left their homes at 63 .... most of them return back after 74 .... like Kyreania ,Ozanköy ,Çatalköy .Arapköy .....

Even tourists are saying same things when they are passing to North .How people are trying to stop them them not the past .... when they comes they see how good is TC's and how we are well coming them .They do understand for living we have to do some thing ....lifr goes on ....no one is going to wait hundred years what will be our future .... we can built up hotels , bussineses ....factories .....etc...etc....etc .... if there is a problem with land it will solved out by Cyprus solution formulas ...
Gon't forget 65000 tC2s left their homes and properties at south ....what do you except from them , they must not do anything ..... they have to wait hundreds years more .....

Are you able to confirm (or indeed deny) claims that the Riverside Holiday Village Hotel in Karavas ( Alsancak ) in the Occupied North belongs to persons other than the present "occupiers" and that the rightful owners are being denied their property by the Occupation Regime and Turkey?

I don't know to whom the land is belongs . We all know what we are having now will solve out by talks ,which they are talking now . Next issue on the talks will be property .
i don't except your words saying to our adminstration as a occupation regime . If we have regime that u are not agreed . This is because of Cyprus problem .

?n these talks there must be not winner , u can give something , we can give something at the end they must find workable and exceptable solution for both sides .

I don't except we can go to old days , toomany things are changed since 74 ....New lifes are built up at both sides ....New generations are growing up .....

we are having this Cyprus problem since 1963 .... hope fully it will solve very soon , not 100 % of the peoples will be satisfied . we must all know it . Up to that time life will be go on in North ... more houses will be built up on GC's properties ... how the life goes on .

Let me say this to Halil, as far as talks and solutions go - I know that left to themselves the good people of both communities would have sorted our little problem long ago but as we all know, there have been other larger powers at work here, working towards their own interests.

The Spokesperson Talat has been brave enough, in the past, to speak out against the Occupation and I also acknowledge that many '000s of the northern community have also had the courage to speak out, in recent years and to march and agitate against the Occupation and The Illegal Settlers and in favour of progress and a share of the prosperity within the new Europe [/color]but whilst most of in the Free Areas dumped the Greeks long ago, I still feel the hand of the other motherland Turkey on the other side of the table working towards a "solution' which benefits RoT rather than CY and of course let's not forget the very size-able number of Turkey brainwashed nationalists within the other community.

Then at the back of my mind there are the relative sizes of the two communities and then when I see Mr Talat going to Brussels a few days ago and insisting that Europe must allow some pretty huge concessions (presumably on freedom of movement, property rights and Turkish security and Turkish "guarantees") to accommodate a solution I feel that really is the tail of the dog wagging the dog!

So all this makes me ask, what are our northern comrades after at these talks. What are their motives? What are they hoping to gain with all this talking? Well I'm sure many will forgive me for saying that many want the prosperity of the New Europe without any of the usual costs and responsibilities.
The solutions of Halil and others have too many losers and we all know from past experience that that's a dangerous thing in CY. There is only one stable win/win solution for everyone in both communities and that's the one with the same rules as in the rest of Europe.

At some point the message will get across that safety and security are more of a priority to the TC's than so-called prosperity. You are more than welcome to keep all your wealth.

And in Miss bobbits/GRs case he can insert it sideways in an orifice of his choice....
