I don't think the Vraga is unique to either Cyprus or Greece. (My vraga is definitely Cypriot though and everyone knows what's inside... which is why it dangles so low). BTW, the term vraga is derived from the Latin 'braca' meaning breeches, so it's likely Venetian in origin.
