I dont know about things all ways being the same...it's just when things of significance do happen, its out of the blue i.e. the borders opening. I reckon the plans to recognise Cyprus are well on the way and the two Turkish generals in Cyprus are proof of that...but having them spotted kinda gave away a bit to much and it was some kinda mistake them being there. It's just weird that NOTHING has been reported in the news much.

Unless there is some kinda explanation from the Turkish government to why the generals were there (not that I belive much that comes from the Turkish government), then i'm turning into a conspiracy theorist.

And todays new upsidedown/inside out/double meaner

Jerusalem, May 16 (CNA) -- Israeli Foreign Minister Silvan Shalom has reassured the government of Cyprus that his country does not encourage investment in Greek Cypriot properties in the Turkish occupied area of the island, adding that he would issue a travel advisory on the matter on the Ministry's official site.

Cyprus Foreign Minster George Iacovou, in Israel for an official visit, told CNA after a working lunch here with Shalom, that his Israeli counterpart underlined that his country does not encourage investment in occupied Cyprus but as a democratic country it cannot prohibit its citizens from doing so.

I think thats:
Cc = un point
Tc = deux point

Yes, one day I woke up and I thought: "what shall I post in the forum today? What shall I post today? What shall I post today?" ...and I came up with this story :lol:

Anyway, quess why there was nothing in your press...
Actually I was wondering why nothing was mentioned in the turkish media,
I bet though that the big old hawk was aware of that :wink: ...or maybe he wasn't?
