Objectively, a real economy and monetary politics defined with some descriptive rules and conditions. Without there rules and conditions, your system cannot be defined as an economy. Let me explain in more simple way. In North Cyprus we only consume! no real production, no real money! You can easily check financial tables of "TRNC" from web site of "devlet planlama". Statistically there is "518 cars for 1000 person" (it was statistics of 2006 I think but you can find it) which means at least one car for two person. This is a simple example of a bizarre wealth of a small population. What production we have to gain this kind of wealth where nearly %80 of population is "government officer". No, this is not a real economy and this is not a financial support. Truly, it is kind of feeding. Feeding up a to create a selfish population who doesn’t care about the future of their country. Turkey is feeding up Turkish Cypriots too keep them silent. There is no "TRNC" even for Turkey. Our future with Turkey can only be same with "Hatay" which was integrated, which means exactly TAXIM.

Real or not do we receive support from Turkey?

Its a simple question yet you talk in riddles to make excuses, how do you propose we turn our backs on Turkey and refuse this money? do you think the GCs economy will fill the void? wont you dependent on handouts? from a hostile and reluctant GC people? How will you guarantee that isolation will be lifted and how will not expose yourself to GC dominance and discrimination?

What is the alternative to Turkey? we are unable to stand our own 2 feet due to GC persistence of isoalation and you expect us to abandone our only ally and wait for GCs to open our path so that we may develop and support ourselves. What are you expecting to get with such demagogy? I see that both your and VP’s comments are going through insult. Good. You are just closing the way of dialogue. What you said doesn’t change the reality, what I wrote, about Turkey. We haven’t got any future with Turkey, but we still have hope with GC. If you cannot tolerate to reality, just don’t read or don’t speak to not to show your level. It is easy to live in UK, or Australia and throw first class demagogy from there to here. There is no union, 1963 took care of that and they do not want you unless you accept their terms, lets see if the will accept some of our conditions.

There hostility is clearly visable from their persisitence of maintaining the isolation on the TCs which started in 1963. I am here to test my own views and people like Piratis Sotos Kifeas and many others just reconfirm that nothing has chnage din the south and the mentality is still to get control of the whole island turn it into a GC state run by GCs for GCs with TCs as just another minority.

First, lets talk about some demagogy. I am against Turkey's suppression, order and military. Did you see any word that insults to Turkish people? So don’t play with the words.

You want ancestors? Fine, so you can identify what is a Turk? This word accepted as an official term in 1929. You can search grandpa. My grandfather is really older than this terminology. So what is all these deal with Turkishness? Middle Asia syndrome? Lets solve it. Anthropologist Timuçin Binder, from İstanbul Teknik University, stated that “ancestors from Middle Asia” story is a myth. Only %10-%15 of people, who lives in Turkey, came from Middle Asia, there is no relation with Middle Asia. But still there is a problem because he also stated that there is no such Turkish gene, Oguz gene and he added “Turkishness a cultural description which we created, it is not a race. We invented that name and we named everybody as Turk but even Uygurs never named themselves as Turk.”

Another professor Ekrem Memiş from Afyon Kocatepe University, stated same thing, but he also have demanded to chance the historical identification of Turkishness.

Organic Laws of Turkey, Part 4 Article 6 says “Everybody who lives in Republic of Turkey is Turk”.

So I know, of course you are Turks but I wonder according to which criteria. I am a Cypriot, because socially I carry Cypriot culture not Turkish culture, my family history is older than Ottoman history on this island and a government gave me id card, which is recognized internationally, which says I am a Cypriot. I have 3 of 3, what you have?

But don’t forget Ottoman is not equal to Turkey

So, we can continue with Ottoman history in Cyprus. Did you ever tired to read Haşmet Muzaffer Gürkan or Prof. Erdogru? Ottoman settled 20.000 janissary (yeniceri) , a group of soldiers created from non-Muslim children, and because of poverty in Cyprus, most of them escaped to other Ottoman lands such as Egypt, Lebanon or back to Anatolia. That means most of the Cypriot’s roots are older than Ottoman, not just mine. So please try to explain me how come you are Turk more than Cypriot? Please try to not to use demagogy.
