Its like a traffic cop stopping you for a mere crack in your headlight. Then they charge you for everything under the sun.

Why have they done it at such a sensitive time??? Has someone put them up to it??? The talks are on us and this happens. Why???
Questions that need to be answered. If they are just kids messing around then fine. Menderez (Spelling?) was shot for running away at a sensitive time in the UK. I would just like to know what this is all about.

Still everyone is evading the real questions as above.

Panth...I wish for these boys to be tried for their crime and nothing else. A £20 fine for writing on the walls maybe. It is strange though......We arrest people and it's a crime and we don't it's a crime...seems we cannot do anything right in your eyes...
there are talks going on if you guys did not know and who ever is trying to disrupt them should be found...I hope the "RoC" will do the same to protect crucial talks....

I can give you the exact answers. The boys are not connected to any political or other civilian organization. They are just kind of reading, discussing and acting youngsters. They did what is related with their age. But you must consider that, there are many people who are trying to do same thing at newspaper corners, at web pages or by writing books... Neither of them have brought "real loud voice" until today. On the other hand these boys did a great job and have created a really loud voice for opposers. Nobody had done something like that for many years. And if you mean "is it originally their idea?" by saying "messing around" than yes they were messing around. Nobody had put them on to it, they are smart enough to take their decisions, and they are brave enough to make only thing which non of us, the opposers, did before.

These times is not sensitive, it is your own dreamland. Talat is not representing Northern Cypriots; he is only representing military and embassy of Turkey. If somebody is really talking about peace and reunition, then he/she must realize and accept that there are no peace for us (the Northern Cypriots) without sending that fachist Turkish army back!

If there will be an agreement wich includes "Turkish army guarantorship", that means that agreement is already dead.

I agree with you wholeheartedly. If, as the newspapers report, these lads were apprehended in the act of defacing a wall and confessed to their crime, surely all that was needed was to impose the appropriate fine on them when they were brought before the court and release them.

It is about an overzealous cop taking his job way too seriously. Only happened at the wrong time that is all and he did not know how to climb down.

According to the newspaper reports, there have been a spate of such incidents and the police were looking for the culprits. These four youths have been accused of orchestrating this graffiti campaign, not just of committing a single isolated act.

A very emotional Hosgeldin from me to you my dear compatriot, my Sundays are on the whole quite mundane , you have elated this Sunday 14th of September to a memorable one , I'm so happy that there are many true Cypriots on our island , a fact that I knew and promoted at every opportunity , we share a common ground that unites us and gives hope to the new Cypriot generation , a hope that we can focus on our true motherland , Cyprus , and proudly tell the world by our actions that we are now free people free Cypriots , we are all the majority as Cypriots there are no minorities amongst us .
I have never met Birkibrisly , never even talked on the telephone , but I feel so close to this true Cypriot as well as to all those that have in their heart the island of Cyprus , and the interests of our future generations to come.
Welcome my dear gardash !

O, you do surprise me continually. You ignore the most fundamental and substantial component of the post above and chose to query the term "Northern Cypriots " , tantamount to a Doctor in telling a heart attack patient that his hair is thinning at the top !!

Ah, the graffiti conspiracy, we should alert Ludlum to the idea, so he can write a new thriller! The situation does have its funny side. In the age of the internet and the text message it is graffiti which attract the full force of the system.

Restrictions in blood flow from a failing heart do indeed lead to alopecia ...

Kindly note the subtle way the Turks operate ... there are species of bacteria that can better see the consequences of accepting two countries labelled Northern Cyprus and Southern Cyprus than a "True Cypriot" such as you!

.... you need your head examined for signs of activity.
