That is of course the only crime they have committed... the crime of vandalism. And that is the only thing they should be charged for. They should be treated as if they had written just about anything such as 'Kilroy was here'. I'm happy to see that even the younger generation seem to be fed up with the Turkish oppression. I wish these lads all the best of luck and I certainly hope they will receive a fair trial. The world is watching!
Its like a traffic cop stopping you for a mere crack in your headlight. Then they charge you for everything under the sun.
Why have they done it at such a sensitive time??? Has someone put them up to it??? The talks are on us and this happens. Why???
Questions that need to be answered. If they are just kids messing around then fine. Menderez (Spelling?) was shot for running away at a sensitive time in the UK. I would just like to know what this is all about.
Still everyone is evading the real questions as above.
Panth...I wish for these boys to be tried for their crime and nothing else. A £20 fine for writing on the walls maybe. It is strange though......We arrest people and it's a crime and we don't it's a crime...seems we cannot do anything right in your eyes...
there are talks going on if you guys did not know and who ever is trying to disrupt them should be found...I hope the "RoC" will do the same to protect crucial talks....
I can give you the exact answers. The boys are not connected to any political or other civilian organization. They are just kind of reading, discussing and acting youngsters. They did what is related with their age. But you must consider that, there are many people who are trying to do same thing at newspaper corners, at web pages or by writing books... Neither of them have brought "real loud voice" until today. On the other hand these boys did a great job and have created a really loud voice for opposers. Nobody had done something like that for many years. And if you mean "is it originally their idea?" by saying "messing around" than yes they were messing around. Nobody had put them on to it, they are smart enough to take their decisions, and they are brave enough to make only thing which non of us, the opposers, did before.
These times is not sensitive, it is your own dreamland. Talat is not representing Northern Cypriots; he is only representing military and embassy of Turkey. If somebody is really talking about peace and reunition, then he/she must realize and accept that there are no peace for us (the Northern Cypriots) without sending that fachist Turkish army back!
If there will be an agreement wich includes "Turkish army guarantorship", that means that agreement is already dead.
