Similarity of DNA ties in with country of origin and so in future Forensic Investigators will be be able to match DNA to the country of origin of the suspect.

Oracle introduced the word suspect, she introduced the words 'forensic investigator'. Neither terms appear in the original article. Oracle took the premise of the article and came to an unwarranted conclusion.

Oracle introduces the thread as 'rich reward for racists'.

How, Oracle, is genographic work 'a rich reward for racists' ?

Your sick mind is making you miss what you don't want to see!

From the very same original article ...

All the populations are quite similar, but the differences are sufficient that it should be possible to devise a forensic test to tell which country in Europe an individual probably comes from, said Manfred Kayser, a geneticist at the Erasmus University Medical Center in the Netherlands.

I could have used the word sample instead of suspect ... but then some other idiot would accuse me of seeing Humans as "guinea pigs" ... can't please everyone CopperLine!

Here is the address of the research centre ...

Department of Forensic Molecular Biology, Erasmus University Medical Center Rotterdam, 3000 CA Rotterdam, The Netherlands.

Some more snippets from this research group ....

From forensics, a necessary funding source, these scientists have applied their findings to the migrations of human populations.

Laos, Kayser et al. wrote:Understanding human genetic diversity is of interest for applying genetic markers e.g. to the field of forensic genetics but can also provide exciting insights into the origin and history of human populations and humans as a whole. We are interested in using genetic diversity to investigate human population origin and migratory history in different parts of the world and to study the relationship between genes and culture.

Thus providing "free" data to evolutionists who my find it harder to get funding for a non-profit making venture such as looking at human history and environmental impacts.

1. The word 'suspect' in the context of forensic has totally different connotations to the words 'test' or 'sample'. Oracle quite simply has no shame in wilfully selecting her vocabulary. She wants words to mean something other than what they mean : 'suspect' is not even a close synonym for 'sample' let alone 'test'. As I said, total and utter bollocks.

2. Oracle does not answer yet the provocative and craven title of the thread ' rich reward for racists' . Why ?

3. Free data for evolutionists ???!!!!???? Did you know that Oracle shares 99.9% of her genes with the red herring.

Poor come-back to qualify your obvious error.

Suspects are usually what forensic scientists deal with when carrying out DNA fingerprint analysis (this sort of data is not necessary for things like paternity tests).

Regarding the "rich rewards for racists" title ... you answered it for me  You are just the sort of Nazi-infested bigot that would soil evolutionary/genetic data ... as you demonstrated with your rant. ... and now abusing my genetics with fish comparisons

The "red herring" was the making of your own ignorance ... you obviously read the thread-link I posted ... yet you missed the bit about the forensics  ... instead of apologising for accusations about me from your own obvious error ... you make-up more ridiculous time wasting word associations.

CL ... take your own advice which you gave Tim the other day. You really add nothing to the total sum of Human knowledge !

Here CopperLine since you like "wilful selection" of words ...

Dr. Manfred Kayser’s team of forensic molecular biologists. In a press release, the Erasmus UMC stated that this might potentially be helpful in resolving so-called ‘cold cases’.

... there's another alternative for sample

One error is indeed mine : that of trying to take to task Oracle who is actually stark raving bonkers. Mad as a box of frogs.

Mea culpa.

Boundless self-delusion, inability to count or simply confidence built from a short-term memory deficit.

On the plus side I am sure your skin benefits from all those egg masks I give you

Really more people should take you on  ... behind the bamboozle are rich easy pickings of howlers, gaffes and clangers 8) .... Still, your Latin teacher, with some foresight, prepared you well ....

So we have, at about 150,000 years ago, the one Mother Eve living in Africa who gave rise to the two main Mother clans now still traceable there. After the waves of migrations out of Africa into Europe, we are now left with seven Mothers that gave rise to all the present European population .... CopperLine, we could be very close relatives 8)

The Seven Mothers of Europe:

Helena: This clan lived in the ice-capped Pyrenees. As the climate warmed, Helena’s descendants trekked northward to what is now England, some 12,000 years ago. Members of this group are now present in all European countries.

Jasmine: Her people had a relatively happy life in Syria, where they farmed wheat and raised domestic animals. Jasmine’s descendants traveled throughout Europe, spreading their agricultural innovations with them.

Katrine: Members of this group lived in Venice 10,000 years ago. Today most of Katrine’s clan lives in the Alps.

Tara: Sykes’ maternal ancestry goes back to this group, which settled in Tuscany 17,000 years ago. Descendants ventured across northern Europe and eventually crossed the English Channel.

Ursula: Users of stone tools, Ursula’s clan members drifted across all of Europe.

Valda: Originally from Spain, Valda and her immediate descendants lived 17,000 years ago. Later relatives moved into northern Finland and Norway.

Xenia: Her people lived in the Caucasus Mountains 25,000 years ago. Just before the Ice Age, this clan spread across Europe, and even reached the Americas.

Which one might be your Mama?.... I figure I am a child of Xenia 8)

Now for the million dollar question. Who is the mother of the Choirokitians and who is the mother of the Myceanians? :?

And what about the TCs? Who is their mother? :?
