Limassol water supply

Postby Tim Drayton » Tue Sep 09, 2008 9:50 am

A question for fellow Limassol residents.
I can't remember if we are in group A or B, but I know we were supposed to get water last night, and we didn't. Was this the case in other parts of the city that are scheduled to receive water on Monday/Tuesday nights? If so, have we finally run out of water?

We had water last night Tim, so I am assuming we are in the same band.
Did you have no water at all, or did it go off early? The latter sometimes happens to us on a Saturday - i.e, instead of going off at 7pm, it is turned off about 5pm!!
VERY FRUSTRATING TO SAY THE LEAST!

Pissouri has given up on water cuts… so many pipes burst when they switched it back on again that they were wasting more than they saved…

One more week, free holiday, but there is an offer of a return free holiday at La Manga. I prefer Cyprus.

That is strange. I get up in the night to fill some bottles with drinking water. Last night there was no water running at midnight, none at about 4 am or at frequent subsequent attempts. Maybe I should contact the water board.
