So someone's taken my home from me and some strangers are living in it now. I guess I was brought up wrong cause I don't really feel like "sharing".

Dear friend DT , i was watching live tv program yesterday , it was on channel T tv (TC TV) program was about Cyprus problem and new talks .

TC lady connected to program , now she lives in GC's home in Morfou (omorfo ,Güzelyurt) .
She said , she was from Matyat (Mathiatis) and they left their village in 1963 and became refugee . Up to 68 she never went to her village when they left her home in 63 .only in 68 they were allowed to go to their village go and pick up their olives and other crops from their trees by the control of the UN soldiers.They were going by UN conveys that time she said their homes were collapsed and destroyed .
After 74 she came to North till few days ago she never went to south or to see her village .Few days ago she went the village Called Matyat .

She said all their houses were disappear and new houses and new developments and roads were on .....

She was asking to public , now GC's are saying we have stolen their homes and we are sitting in their homes ....They wants their homes back ....

How about my home , which i left it at 63 by force from the EOKA men .

who is going to give me compensation which i am not using it since 1963 and now nothing is left out now ,even the stones are disappear .
i am calling to our leaders , why u are waiting and u are not applying to courts as well like they do . who will cover our lost years since 1963 .

Halil, my problem is with the government of Turkey and the fact that an organised amy kicked me out of my house and has stopped me from reclaiming it.

The woman has suffered at the hands of fanatics who were acting from both sides at the time. The TMT was pushing just as hard for these people to leave their homes as the GC's were in this inter-communal fight. A fight in which GC's committed horrendous acts on TC's and TC's committed horrendous acts on GC's.

My fight is different, I and 1/3 of my countrymen have been cleansed from the entire northern half of this island by a member of the UN and an aspiring EU member. The force and horror employed by this army to commit such acts should never have been allowed by the govt of Turkey. It is one thing having fanatics causing these acts and another having an organised disciplined army carrying out orders to rape and kill.

My heart goes out to her and justice for her can be found because we have a responsible EU member state govt on this side which she can apply to. We have a group of puppets in the north whose strings reach all the way to Ankara. Who am I going to see about this?

Lets compare the numbers Halil, lets compare the dead from both sides and the refugees from both sides. Show me when the TC's napalmed out of their homes in their hundreds of thousands.

No one is denying the suffering but do not compare the one with the other.
