AQ,
Where in England is that scene?

Both Cyprus & the centre of Australia need to have some rain. We've been getting a bit of rain these past few nights over here.It is pretty cold over here, just like sticking your hand in the freezer section of your fridge, but at least,it isn't raining.

Aidan.

Take your pick. It could be anywhere in England right now!

Ok, do not give paliometoxo any rain, but please send me some, thanks!

England/Britain is not always cold and wet,, though she has had more than her fair share of wet weather in recent years! (That is ok for the Brits though - they tend to go abroad for their holidays!)

Have you ever been in Britain when it has been snowing, the ground has frozen over creating 'black ice', the temperature is below zero and it is blowing a hoolie? No? You don't know what you are missing!

I do enjoy my winters in Cyprus :)

sounds like the trodos mountains in winter, when we had i think 6 feet of snow and no one could move i saw pictures... which happened years ago though but usually every year it snows.

Black ice? how cold does it get in uk/? i hear scotland is even more cold.

Paliometoxo,
It gets cold over here in New Zealand during winter.Even though it is now spring time,it is still freezing.

We have had a lovely morning.
I sat out on a deserted marsh not another person within three miles when the morning light was just arriving. Thousands of Greylag geese were flying to a deafening noise, ducks of all species filled the air on a search for food and a place to gather the warm rays of the sun. The hills and mountains of the Lake district stood out rising from green lush valleys with the sun glinting from their peaks.
Rain forecast for this afternoon, hey ho !
