You mean the woman who said these things?

"Our national leaders are sending them out [troops to Iraq] on a task that is from God," she said. "That's what we have to make sure that we're praying for, that there is a plan and that plan is God's plan."

"God's will has to be done in unifying people and companies to get that gas line built, so pray for that,"

"I can do my job there in developing our natural resources and doing things like getting the roads paved and making sure our troopers have their cop cars and their uniforms and their guns, and making sure our public schools are funded," she added. "But really all of that stuff doesn't do any good if the people of Alaska's heart isn't right with God."

I didn't say I agreed with her, it was just a 'tour de force' speech.

Obama comes across as a Messiah and I think he actually believes he is.

It was refreshing to see someone who is as far removed from the norm of politician as you could possibly get.

Go Sarah!

This is a woman who believes that a god waved a magic wand and created us directly without evolution. She is against women having the right to abortion and is trying to convince everyone that her unmarried pregnant daughter has done nothing contrary to her "religious" views. If the USA elects a geriatric facsimile of Bush and a bigotted, ignorant, stupid woman as his partner then we will all need some divine help

Go Sarah!

Not only is Palin ""as far removed from the norm of politician as you could possibly get."" but also far far removed from reality. McCain and his advisers must have been praying while reading chapters from Exodus "Let my people go " when they decided to appoint this woman as their VP candidate.
I hope for Americas sake the Democrats win and Barak becomes the new President. It appears to me that "God" and the usual nonsense associated with" black magic " have influenced the selection process . Regardless what political commentators make of Palin , she is an utterly inexperienced mother of 5 whould should never have been considered let alone be appointed as one that might , if McCain wins , become the President of the US with one hand on the Bible and the other on her lipstick.

In a much earlier post I predicted a massive win by McCain , obtaining much more than the 270 electoral votes required to win , with even California , (recent polling shows an increase in the support of the Republicans from around 30% in Mid July to 39% Mid August ) and Pennsylvania , going his way , both traditionally safe Democrat states , but now with Palin and the hand of "God" who knows !
