Feel free to talk about anything that you want.

god bless america. religious extreamism.unmarried teenage mothers. and a nation of people who have loads of kids and no tv sets. what is the world coming to. the ethnic population of the usa is rising year on year so i think obama has the best chance of winning. lets hope so because if this religious nutcase gets into power who knows where it will go. i have no problem with her christian views but she needs to keep them for her personal use, and not inflict them on others.

Filitsa whilst I do not support any of Palin's procreations/politics/religious aspirations ... I find your comments regarding her choice to pursuing a life outside her family obligations, deeply offensive for women!

Presumably those 5 children have a father(s) who could share the responsibility of love and nurturing .....

Good for your child!

I nevertheless support those women who otherwise choose to pursue "flights of fancy" or careers, in a man's world).

Why how politically correct of you!

You go right ahead and be offended Oracle 'cause you're a "big girl" who should be able to handle it. But what of Palin's children? Perhaps you can tell me, how does a mother climb the ranks of politics and give her five young children the attention they deserve? Her husband's a commercial fisherman. Now there's a nine to five job! Like her, he's certainly not tucking the kiddies into bed every night. And why is the daughter pregnant at the tender age of seventeen? Surely not soley due to raging hormones. Ya think she's feeling a bit neglected? Perhaps a lack of parental supervision? Maybe a little self-esteem issue going on while mommy continues to bolster her own? Yup, "pro-life." What about "absent mother"?

This is undoubtedly a woman who has chosen to abdicate her responsibilities to her family. Only she does it in a "white collar" way disingeuously invoking "God and country," thereby seemingly making it all okay. This is bullshit. She will impact the quality of life in America more constructively by giving her family the attention it deserves than by serving as our vice president.

Now tell me, why did you choose to sacrifice 15 years of career time for your child?

I agree with you she is trying to have it all, and it is not a perfect world.

In nature there are species that have many offspring but contribute little in the way of nurturing (e.g. Fish); and then there are other species (e.g. Humans) that have fewer offspring but invest more parental input into raising them ....

Now figure it out ....

"God's will has to be done in unifying people and companies to get that gas line built, so pray for that,"

"I can do my job there in developing our natural resources and doing things like getting the roads paved and making sure our troopers have their cop cars and their uniforms and their guns, and making sure our public schools are funded," she added. "But really all of that stuff doesn't do any good if the people of Alaska's heart isn't right with God."

I didn't say I agreed with her, it was just a 'tour de force' speech.

Obama comes across as a Messiah and I think he actually believes he is.

It was refreshing to see someone who is as far removed from the norm of politician as you could possibly get.

Go Sarah!

In the 24 hours following that speech the McCain campaign raised $1million dollars.
Obama's campaign raised $10million in the same 24 hours.

Doesn't sound like a resounding success to me.

Well, I was thinking along the lines that the smaller bird then tells everyone that this great big beautiful bird is one of it's own when the whole world can see it is not...Rather like Greeks laying claim to Macedonia and a whole heap of so called "Greek" Mathematicians and philosophers....

You been reading the wrong stuff again Zan. Greece is NOT laying claim to anything, they object to FYROM using the name Macedonia unqualified. End of story. The rest is made up by others.

To keep within the thread subject- This Palin woman is one step closer towards making the USA irrelevant in the world. And that is dangerous.

I agree, Nikitas. The U.S. needs leaders who are more cosmopolitan. She is not cosmopolitan. Further, I've had enough of these shove-it-down-your-throat yahoos. We need consensus builders.
