How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

From what I know in the schools in the occupied areas they do brainwash the children with the "evil" GC theories and how partition was needed so the "savior" Turkey would save them from the "evil" GCs.

How else could they explain the "trnc"? The aim of Turkey and TC leadership has always been partition (in one form or another) and therefore their education is trying to justify this.

On the other hand, in our schools they do not teach anything against the TCs, only against Turkey. Although TCs have also committed crimes against us, those crimes are ignored by our education system which emphasizes only the crimes committed by the Turkish army. This is because the aim of our side is unification and they do not want to emphasize the conflicts and differences between the two communities.

Do you teach them about 1963? and the TC refugees? do they know about Murtaga and Sandallar?

Why ... do you?

Do you teach your children about the 1.5 Million Armenians you massacred in the most inhumane ways possible ....

Do you teach them how the GCs never left their country to harm anyone, whereas you made your way here by slaughter?

That no TCs were harmed until Turkey invaded and the GCs had to defend themselves against the Turkish enemy, 100 times bigger?

Deniz, I appreciate your response and I do understand your frustration as I felt it two years ago with the intransigent stance taken by the then President of Cyprus. Now it is just reversed. The problem with this reversal means that there will not be a solution and the only persons affected are the people, mostly TC's.

The president of the TRNC is a reflection of how the TC people are feeling and it is great to hear him acknowledging that.

I doubt that they would all like to be grouped together as racists and discriminatory towards the people the want to supposedly live together with.

Deniz, I find it all bizarre too, but I do appreciate it more when it comes from a level headed man from that side in lack of a better word

I have asked you to change your name from the original humanist to something more apt dear heart...I really really think its about time to be honest with yourself......Reading and taking in all the Greek propaganda you have does not give you the right to that name...

Deniz

What parts do you find contradictory??? Sure there are a lot of ifs!!! :?
