This sums it up!

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Postby Main_Source » Sun May 15, 2005 6:33 pm

Well why don't many more TC take RoC to court, like the Loizidou case with Turkey. If you feel your human rights have been violated regarding property in south...PLEASE take the RoC to court.

Questions:

1- Who is going to pay for the expenses? (We are not that rich :) )
2- Why should I cause more problems regarding properties before there is a solution in Cyprus?

Ok so half (or Third) of cyprus takes two thirds or half of cyprus to court, gets compensation, from people or govts who aren’t gonna pay or haven’t got the money or will to pay. Then we demolish half the island, and with the compensation were not gonna get, somehow pay to rebuild, what we’ve just paid to demolish.

Hmmmm………….. soundz good.

Well stop moaning about how it's only Greek Cypriot land that matters and do something about it like what Greek Cypriots are doing.

If Turkish Cypriots can get some deserved justice then GOOD!

where did u get your figures and facts lol???

The communal killings were more like inter-communal killings...although more Turkish Cypriots died than Greek Cypriots between 63-74.

Multiple thousand deaths??? Are we talking from 1963? 1955? or back from the Cyprus revolution?

Planned genocide? Yes Grivas gave President Makarios a plan to wipe Cyprus of the Turkish Cypriot community and Makarios subsequently threw Grivas out of his office...most Greek Cypriots condemn the work of Grivas and EOKA B, although Makarios is often vindicted by the Turkish Cypriots but I dont know why...but hey, every Greek Cypriot leader is the devil to you. Anyway, I suppose the Greek Cypriot plan of genocide wasn't as succesful as Turkey's plan of genocide, which was actually carrried out and worked!!! :D Good for you guys!

200,000 refugees?... lol are you sure? Although there were Turkish Cypriots harrassed from there villages by Greek Cypriots, there were also many Turkish Cypriots who willingly migrated to the north under the orders of the TMT...and I dont think that the added number of both adds to 200,000! (although maybe you got the number mixed up witht he GC made to be refugees after 1974)

...and 40 years of oppression and depravity?...since what date and how?

...BUT ANYWAY, as much as you are brainwashed to think that it's part of RoC masterplan to starve cute little TC children to death and kill off the TC community through trade restrictions...most Greek Cypriots want only justice for what they have suffered through the Turkish invasion and know that Turkish Cypriots suffered also.

Also, whats your idea of living as equal human beings? a population of 18% having a 50% representation in government?

Multiple thousand deaths occured during the invasion
no? please huh..... I am trying to be fair here

200000 refugees…… Wot we got some too then?………..actually I was speaking about yours.

40 yrs = 14 yrs of enclave sub existence which in truth your side were probably unaware of, and 30 trs of world trade embargo while you enjoy a bountiful growing prosperity = 44 yrs. but I don’t wouldn’t want you to think I’m exaggerating, so have 4 yrs on us out of goodwill.

I wasn’t brainwashed into thinking that, I lived it.
You lot were not told by your govt what we were going through. Why should they tell you?. All you were told is that we were some bunch of barbars over there who hated you and wanted to kill you, n rape your sheep, and you believed it, coz it was comfortable for you to do so. Did they tell you about Akritas? Were the german people told the condition of the jews? No they were told that the jews were moved to the ghettos for their own protection, and the germans believed it, until it was too late to stop.

Mate coz if the cat has 80% democratic rights and the mouse has 20% rights, then (on this mad "land of my forefathers and his pet dinosour" island) the cat passes a law that makes it legal to go mouse eating on SUNDAYS …

ps Suet Sir

my apologies ...i got it now
sue toni us pauli n us..once again welcome to the madness.
