what about the national anthems and flags?

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

That would be good, but judging from some members comments on here regarding the Turkish language, sadly improbable!!

It's simple, the Turkish Cypriots send it in Turkish and the Greek Cypriots in Greek. And have a mixed version for schools, governments, etc.

For the flag how about the dove of peace falling to earth after being shot?
and in greek and turkish the words "ïf you dont like it here" ?
The words to the National anthem should be in English - its the universal language of the world of business, finance, Airlines etc..And also the most racism on this forum is directed at the UK. (after Turkey) Your children will have a better life in the big world by having it as a second language, like it or lump it....... You receive grants from the EU to which UK is one of the biggest contributors..... :?
Anyway IMHO as much as i would like to see reunification, i dont think it will happen in my lifetime - the hatred is being taught to children on both sides to carry forward and Turkey will never leave what it has had now for thirty odd years...
(sigh) im outta this forum now so fire away

We have seen how the Greeks teach hate to their children but have you any evidence that the Turks are doing the same??

How about the union jack changes to a football missing an open net?

Our children are already bilingual at the very least while the ENglish kids struggle to speak ENgish. We're concentrating on teaching them Russian and possibly Chinese in the future so don't worry about us on this one.

Cyprus is a net contributor to the EU so sell that garbage to Estonia.

SO long
