hi can some 1 please tell me the current exchange rate in protaras as i am travelling there on monday. would i be better changing my money in the uk or cyprus

The rate is so variable at the moment so you'll have to wait until Monday to see what you get for the pound. If you change it in the UK you will probably be charged commission, it's usually better to change cash in Protaras there are a number of exchange places that don't charge commission.

If you have a Nationwide account with a cash card you can withdraw up to 300 Euros per day from the hole in the wall machines in Cyprus at no charge and you will get the commercial rate which is better than the tourist rate.

You can change your money in the UK at a Post Office and they wont charge commission :)
