Land for sale in Kalavasos village, borders with Tochni. Covers a slight slope, with views of surrounding countryside and sea. Outside village, close to highway exits that take you to Limassol (Approximately 20 minutes) and Larnaca / Nicosia approx 40 minutes (im a slow driver). Size of land approximately 17,300 Sq.M covers 3 building factors, small part 6% and 4,000 Sq.m 30% and a larger part is 60% build approx 6,500 Sq.M. Land also has 2 roads , water & electricity. Land map and title deeds available on request. Offers in the region of 2.300,000 Euros for entire plot, or 1/10th share for sale for 170,000 Euros (100,000 CYP) very good investment.

Hmmm.... Try this one!

OK, here's your chance, a 4000m2 ( 2.99 scales or donums) of residential land 60% build factor in the village of Kalavassos in the Larnaca district.

1. the build density is 60%
2. It is on a slope with breath taking views
3. Water, Electric, telephone all available
4. On an Asphalt road
5. Price relative to characteristics of land
6. No sea view, only mountain views.

Price only 333,178 Euros (£cyp195,000) ono.

PM me for any more info you may need and photos.

Serious enquiries only please

Guys, 333 thou Euros buys me a nice place in Austria, in the Tyrol, within driving distance from Milano, Venice, Munich, and all of Swizerland.

2.3 million buys an apartment in Manhattan, NY, or in the best quarter of Paris.

Nearer home I can buy a superb place in Corfu, and be withing a day of Brindisi, Bari and Ancona.

In June I was in the Ancona region where a refurbished farmhouse could be bought for less than 200 000 Euros along with land in the Urbino area, where there are all kinds of facilities.

Get a sense of proportion will you!

Nikita, it is you that needs a sense or proportion me thinks! 333k euros will buy you a shed in london east end, so whats new, it all depend where you want to be. Further 333k euros will also buy you half of Turkey  being a cheap (and no offence nor cyprob here please) detination.
You are not comparing like for like. Sorry.

First (even though its not even worth me answering), ive had the land valued and that is the price we have been advised to market for, even though (and i am sure you can read), i have posted that it is negotiable. Im not going to just pick a number out of a hat and put that, it would be a waste of everyones time, as im sure whoever would be serious would make there own enquiries with valuers before purchasing.

Second i agree with the Nikitas post, one of my uncles has a tiny house in London thats worth approx 600,000 GBP, so go figure.

Finally its not very nice when someone posts an add for something and someone tries to put them down, you haven't even seen my land and you dont know where it is, the land you mention could be near the dam, or in the mountains far from the main road or near a river that will be full of mosquitos in the summer or be unstable ground to build on, or need leveling if it is on a mountain side therefor pushing the cost of building up etc. there are many things that need to be taken into consideration when purchasing land.

It is a holiday home we are talking about, not permanent home, so London is not in the league.

When you price land in the Limassol area higher than Toscana, then something is not right. I can go to Ancona in one day, on a super luxurious ship, with my car (car fare is 75 Euro) and be in an area which is next to the sea yet green and luxuriant, with local facilities in Urbino that include a huge municipal sports complex, three shooting ranges, bicycle paths, horse riding facilities and the list goes on. And the food and wine is beyond comparison.

I am obviously not comparing like for like. I stepped in it first time with land on the island of Kea, and since then I am very careful in making comparisons. People need to travel a little and see what is available.

Joanna, quite right, I do apologise.

And it is my post you agree with not Nikitas.

No intention of hijacking the thread or implying that your price is not in line with prices in Cyprus, it might even be a bargain by local standards.

But in a united Europe, where people and money are free to travel around, then we all must ask what is going on and why prices are so disparate. It is a reasonable question.
