P.S. Have fascists, murderers, extremists etc ceased to exist?

Nope....still plenty of them in the north of Cyprus :D

Stop emptying your 5 years of castrated frustrations with Papadopoulos out on this forum and its members. You are the only one that still carries on this immature fascist and right wingers name calling on people that simply disagree with you. Which is pretty rich considering your own painful history of apparently being called a traitor due to your support for the Annan Plan. (btw something which I've never done to you despite my disgust for that plan).

DT, those that call for the closure of the gates are enemies of Cyprus. Are you one of them? Can you give us a clear answer on this? Stay open or close?

Humanist,
How can advocacy of closing all crossings be regarded as the wish of a humanist ? Politician, yes; nationalist yes; avenger yes; desperado yes; frustrated yes: humanist no.

being a humanist does not mean you allow someone to walk all over you all the time. Sometimes love is calling it a day.

Beside I am not saying anything more than closing all crossings. Those TC's who want to live in the RoC and share its bad with its good are doing it and those who live in the occupied area would be more than welcome.

I agree with you that it mustn't mean 'allow[ing] someone to walk all over you', but by the same token it must not mean resorting to the world-weary means of anti-humanists who treat other people - whoever they are - as means and not ends in themselves. This is especially the case when those allegedly doing the 'walking all over' - variously the Turkish army, Turkish political leadership, TC leaders, etc - are not the same people as the ordinary folk - day labourers, shoppers, students, etc - doing the border crossings.

I personally wouldn't have a problem closing the crossings tomorrow. Enough is enough. You are so arogant you can't even see what Turkey is doing to you. You want to throw blame back to people who all they are doing is protecting their interets.

Turkey is choking you but your so blinded you wont admit it.

Just like you don;'t want partition your freaking out about the crossings being closed.

You are the one shitting yourself at the thought of losing the north forever if the crossing should be closed you know full well that any such move by the GCs would seal recognition for the TRNC, if you are so sure nothing will come of it go ahead do it.

Its a toss up between Turkey and the GCs and you guys lost, just accept it we have, move on the only way to get back our support is to agree a solution.

Bananiot you are very quick to judge. It has nothing to do with hate of TC's but a lot to do with injustice. Please expalin to me how this action by the Turkish army assists the process of unification, trust and willingness to live together. Just in case you have not noticed most GC posters on this forum have nothing against TC's but a lot of mistrust of Turkey. And I assure you most if us are more willing to live side by side with the TC's if they allowed their hate of Gc's to subside.

I am not sure what your links with the TC community is but I don't beieve it is in the best interest of Cypriots to create a state based on criminalities, violation of human rights so that 55,000 can achieve their goal which is ENOSIS with Turkey, and most of the TC's in here are very proud to stand and shout that from the roof tops.
