YOU NEEDED TO BE A TC TO KNOW THIS.

Rubbish ....

The TCs had positive discrimination thanks to the unfair Constitution. And they milked it!

It is the GCs that were treated unfairly, not just by hearsay and gossip but from the rule-book upwards!

Folks ! Finally O Rattle has made it !

Unable to control her "oral diarrhea" she did confess that 1960 constitution was unfair, hence unacceptable by GCs.
As if GCs had to sign the 1960 constitution under a gunpoint....
There was nothing to stop them from saying "Oxi" to the constitution and negotiate for what they deem more acceptable terms..
Who was holding them back ? Turkey ?
Moreover, in her earlier post to this thread in reply to a british supremacist, she stated that if the british empire had not been at the height of its power, the turks would have been "removed" (translated as : exterminated) much earlier.
So, beware, when you hear words such as "freedom" (eleftheria) from the likes of Oracle, understand that it means not only the end freedom for TCs but end of their lives as well.

In the meantime, Oracle, your sweetheart told me he is still waiting for you in the "occupied" area.
He is from the same chemical bag as you are..

Yes they were treated very badly by the majority Im ld enough to remember being treated as second class citizens at airports crossing points, beaches shopping areas etc, after agreeing to a new constitution which the GCs had not intention of maintaining they throw us out of government and had an hidden agenda to gift Cyprus to Greece which put us in danger so we fought back with Turkeys help but GCs will never admit this because if they do it will only support why we do not trust them one inch and need our own part of the island to administer with plenty of safeguards so that neither side is allowed to repeat the mistakes of the past.

you weren't even born on the Island and visited there on occassion. The fact that you hare a Greco hater does not do justice to your argument because you have proven yourself unable to remain objective or present the other side, which that the TC's through Turkey had been instrumental in harming GC's at the time. The difference is we stopped years ago you have perspetuated your violence towards GC's continually and you continue to do so.

If you think your family had it bad being discrimnated against at the beach, how about you try this one. YOU TOOK MY UNCLE OUT. I was old enough to experience the pain and anguish.

Of course the Turks where hated in Cyprus. Don't forget how they came to our island and the 10s of thousands of Cypriots they butchered and the oppression we suffered under them.

Still, just just 75 years after their oppressive rule had ended we had already forgave them and we had no conflicts with each other.

Unfortunately when the Cypriot people tried to revolt against the British colonialists, the TCs (with Turkish and British encouragement of course) attacked us, started to demand our annihilation from the north part of our country, and helped the British to defeat our revolution and impose on us the 1960 agreements.

The Cypriot people are forgiving people and this is shown with the good relationships we have with those former invadors that now stopped occupying our lands and violating our rights. For example we have no issues at all with the Latin minority in Cyprus. They respect us and we respect them.

The only thing the Cypriots ever fought for was for the freedom of their island and their self-determination. We never ventured out of our island to harm others (like the Turks and the British did), and we never started a conflict with a purpose other than freeing our island.

So if you say that "GCs deserved to be harmed" and have 1000s of casualties and 100s of thousands people ethnically cleansed, because they fought for the freedom of their own island, then what would you say about the Turks or the British? What do they deserve based on the harm they caused to the world and other nations which they invaded, oppressed, exploited and robed? (and they continue doing it today)

What dismays me most, is that we all know the truth. It has been thrashed about numerous times. By the attempts at changing the constitution, it was obvious that the Greek Cypriots wished to have maximum control over the TC municipalities - therefore the day to day lives of Turkish Cypriots.

Most of the current posters are aware of what has passed and what has been posted. Most of you were too young to remember anyway.

There are many unbiased people analysing the 1960 constitution who would agree it was unfair. Giving the TCs unprecedented powers beyond their numerical worth.

And yes, perhaps it was signed at gunpoint because the British Army was here in full force and bombing us and shooting us ... and if that was the only way out, why should Makarios not have clutched at it?

There was nothing to stop them from saying "Oxi" to the constitution and negotiate for what they deem more acceptable terms..

You really haven't got a clue have you? Even I know Turkey was involved in holding the Cypriots back with its games in the '50s.

Moreover, in her earlier post to this thread in reply to a british supremacist, she stated that if the british empire had not been at the height of its power, the turks would have been "removed" (translated as : exterminated) much earlier.

First you mistranslated my use of Ottoman, now you have decided I said Turks ... and added your own preferred words due to my not satisfying your perversions for blood lust ...
Is that what I am really saying here or are you mental?

Thank you for the insight into your twisted mind Cem. Why don't you save me the trouble and write my posts for me since you know what you want me to say better than I do ...

Scaremongering because you do not know what Freedom really means merely makes us pity you Cem.

You are afraid of your own shadow, because of the propaganda you are fed daily. Sad, pathetic, existence in your "glass bowl". Peering out hoping it is all worthwhile and make-believing we are such baddies that you need all those troops to change your water.

And thank you for the ilk representative that seems to have attached himself to you, but you do yourself no favours in reminding us of your Mongol roots ...

The Zurich agreement was made up as it was to stop you from seeking or achieving ENOSIS and was fair at the time. There could be no agreement that would have been fairer so stop your rubbish. Had you tried for Cyprus for Cypriots then it would not have been needed. There is no other need to justify anything else to do with it.

Yes, unbiased people like...Grieve-Ass, Malaka-rios and yourself..
They first analyzed the constitution and then put their analysis results into practice starting in december 1963.

Oh sure...everbody was busy in threatening and killing you.. first britts, then turkish cypriots and finally turks.

If your beloved EOKA starts shooting the britts, then what did you expect they would do in return? Throw back flowers at you GCs ??

You really haven't got a clue have you? Even I know Turkey was involved in holding the Cypriots back with its games in the '50s.

Yeah, Turkey is the root of all evil..
Ask for a psychiatrist help to cure you of your recurrent "persecution mania"..

First you mistranslated my use of Ottoman, now you have decided I said Turks ... and added your own preferred words due to my not satisfying your perversions for blood lust ...

Good point, mea maxima culpa. So I mixed turks for ottomans or vice versa.. big deal..

Then tell this to your fellow Piratis who keeps using turks in place of ottomans consistently by reminding us what happened 400 years ago.

Thank you for the insight into your twisted mind Cem. Why don't you save me the trouble and write my posts for me since you know what you want me to say better than I do ...

Admitting that I, like many TCs here in the north are being constantly fed propaganda by Turkish authorities..Then:

What about more than 200.000 TCs all around the world (U.K, Canada, Australia and Europe) ?
Most of them are also nationals of their host countries and in no way to be affected by turkish propaganda machinery..
We have samples here in this forum, what % of them do you think agree with you?

And thank you for the ilk representative that seems to have attached himself to you, but you do yourself no favours in reminding us of your Mongol roots...[/
quote]

But, aren't you the one who said "we are all one race" and "of all the same chemical bag" my dear ? So, following your preachings, why should I care about my roots since ethnicity should not matter according to great scientist Oracle ?
Since cultural inheritance can not be transmitted all the way down several hundred years from Mongolia, then I gather from your remarks regarding my Mongolian roots can only be ethno-centred.
Which makes you a typical racist in self-denial....

Deniz said:

The way I remember it, and I may be wrong on this, is that the GC side refused separate municipalities in mixed areas, like Nicosia and most cities and mixed villages. To this day we do not know the real reason behind this. In actual practice the participation of TCs in local elections of united municipalities would make the TCs power makers (at the local level ). The GC rationalisation is that separate municipalities were a first step towards partition.

As in most areas concerning the Cyprus issue there is no straight answer out there.

I will deal with the rest of your stupid remarks when I get back.
