Hali, your rights are not whatever you want them to be. Based on which of your rights you want to rule over north Cyprus, when north Cyprus, like every other part of Cyprus belongs to Greek Cypriots by 82%? Your "right" to ethnically cleanse and steal? Nobody told you that this is not your right, but that it is a crime?

So stop confusing your undemocratic outrageous criminal demands with what you have the right for. Your minority in Cyprus has the same rights that the Greek minority has in Turkey. Why don't you give to our minority in Turkey the rights you demand for your minority in Cyprus? You are a "higher" race than them or what? Or maybe they didn't suffer as well? (they, just like us, suffered tons more than you did)

Halil , absolutely agree with piratis on this one. Cyprus belongs to all Cypriots and all Cypriots have the same rights. You community is no more special than GC's are.

I fail to see how fair and ethical is to kick people out of their homes in order to build a country. Just as unethical the crimes against TC's in the 1960's. Two wrongs cannot make a right.

With an 8 to 2 ratio "democracy" can be exploited to our communities detrement, would you accept this imbalance with Turkey being the majority? Please do not us ask us to put ourselves at the mercy of GCs without a right to say no when and where necessary.

Once you have liberated yourself from the notion that you are not a Cypriot but a Turk then you will always be a minority in realistic terms. You see your self as predominantly a Turk , not a Cypriot , accept that Cyprus is your country and that you are a Cypriot first and foremost and suddenly you discover just as I HAVE , that you are in the majority on this island. By consistently and continually rejecting your Cypriotness you leave your self open to accusations of being a foreigner on this island.

Can the "Cypriots" of Greek origins exploit their numerical advantage to the detrement of "Cypriots" of Turkish origin, how can you expect us to jump into the fire hoping for the best all in the name of we are all "Cypriots". Wake up no one can be that naive.

It appears that those closer to your sentiments as well as those closer to Os' sentiments are the major obstacles in the process of achieving the utmost for our people and our islands' future.
You live in Cyprus , just as O does and yet you align yourselves to foreign nations , befriend them yes but rub yourselves around them , most definitely no.

Are you unable to substantiate arguments with your own views instead of merely making assumptions on suppositions about what others think.

If nothing else, it makes you sound stupid ....

There is no need to make assumptions as to where you stand any more than there is a need to assume that you are a woman and that you are full of hatred for anything Turkish. I know exactly what your thinking is , again no need to guess , I have said it before and I will say it again, your contribution towards a solution to the Cyprus problem is equal to throwing petrol on a burning house !!
On this forum you have supplied much salvo to the partitionists who point you , and your like minded , out as one of the reasons they prefer partition. You are helping the enemies of a unified Cyprus by providing them with destructive barriers against unification. Farting and telling the Turkish troops to depart wont work , supporting bravado action wont work , what will work is the political manoeuvres and negotiations that the likes of you are hindering with your short sighted views. And yes , we Cypriots are not kalamarades , we are far too advanced to be compared to them !!

I would think that Kalamarades would be insulted if anyone compared them to you!

Perhaps that's the idea? Maybe the plan is to rid the 'TRNC' of Brits? There are lots of nice homes paid for by British money built on GC soil to be taken from you and then given to mainland Turkish immigrants.

Your prediction may very well come true... if there is no fair solution to the Cyprus problem (ie reunification as a true democracy). Should there be a permanent partition or the status quo is upheld I think the future 'TRNC' will only be populated by Turks... there will few or no true TC's left at all.

I think Özker Özgür predicted this a long time ago.

I just thought of Cassandra the Oracle/soothsayer of 'Up Pompei' fame. "Woe woe woe, thy end is near". Good God. We survived for nearly 400 years, we will still survive. The sooth-sayers should 'sooth-OFF' (as Frankie Howard says.)

Most of you will disagree, but Halil is the MOST misunderstood person on this Forum. He is a true Cypriot/TC.IMHO. So many of you are so wrong. :?
