Absolutely no idea... Image

Me neither! No forum lunch there then!

It's easy Bubbles, it's just up the road from the old Zouloupas bakery.

But I will not challange you across Nicosia, even though I know this city well. I will chalange you in Paphos or Limassol.

And by the way. I speak US English. So I meant Asses.

P.S. Whoever needs the map of Cyprus for miomap and igo, pm me. I waited too much for this map not to share with others. In fact that's why I searched in the first place threads about GPS and I found this silly arguing whether the GPS makes any sens in Cyprus or not.

Please send me the mio map.

You can also find out where your going beforehand by looking at http://www.wikimapia.org/ and even add your own landmarks.

For a minute I thought that was useful... Where are the street names? :?

Guys
Would like to share my gps maps feedback.

1. Not really needed in Cyprus
2. REALLY needed in Cyprus to find shortcuts in Nicosia (some other cities) during peak hours:) :)
3. Having an HTC Cruise with winmobile 6 I have a MapFactor navigator which suks (most roads does not exist + hard to find a street you need!) and having a DESTINATOR software which actually kicks ass! excellent navigation and search, 99.8% of roads are in the db with lots of language packs. device acting as a everyday mobile phone and in a cruise/trip somewhere becomes a good gps navigator:)
The problem with navigator is that you have to take it always away from your car so that no pakistani or any other lawless guy brake your side window and grab it :)

Info:
iGO Amigo is a brand new navigation software series which fuses our software development experience with the demands of recent markent trends. iGO Amigo is easy to use, intuitive and simple to learn. The software contains the essential navigation functions and the individual steps ensure a streamlined, intoutive workflow, making it almost impossible to get lost among the settings. The user interface is tidy and organized, and the screens are not cluttered.

Download and unrar the content of the package to the root of your SD Card.
- Run the application either directly from File Explorer or create a shortcut in Programs section (i.e. by using Total Commander CE)

Main iGO Amigo package (excluding content means no maps, POIs, 3D terrains)

FAQ (READ CAREFULLY BEFORE MAKING QUESTIONS):

1. The only supported resolutions at this moment are 240x320, 320x240 and 480x272.

2. There is a problem with the backlight on some PDA devices. Until this is solved, you should set the backlight in Windows power management console (settings of the device itself).

3. Do not use R1 content like maps, poi's, buildings. Some appear to be working, but better is to use R3 content, the latest work just fine on iGO8 (R3) and iGO Amigo (R4).

4. The application will recognize older iGO8 R3 Voice packages as well. So besides the original voice packages posted above, you can still use the iGO8 R3 voice packages.

5. If the software is unable to detect your GPS receiver or your receiver fails to acquire satellite fix, shut down Amigo, go to AMIGO/SAVE folder and edit the system.ini by directly entering your GPS receiver parameters.

6. There are issues on some devices, when the application constantly looses GPS signal. This problem occurs when Amigo wrongly detect your GPS receiver baud rate, setting it either to high or too low. Check with your manufacturer for correct baud rate and set it directly by editing system.ini located in AMIGO/SAVE folder. To enable BUILDINGS and TMC functionality, add license into your AMIGO/LICENSE folder (http://rapidshare.com/files/220575616/License.rar).

On a lighthearted note ... Man buys a GPS goes on his journey .. wife sits quietly reading a book ...Man gets terribly lost ...Rants and Raves at the GPS !!! Wife says quietly I could have told you ..you would get lost ... As men never really listen to a female voice giving directions .....HA HA
