I don't know the procedure, you'll probably have to consult the Ministry of Interior Immigration Department on that. However, as a non-EU national, I don't think you'll have a great chance of leave to remain in the country once your studies have finished. I believe that in order to hire a non-EU national for employment, employers in Cyprus now have to prove that they are unable to find the skills they require from either the resident population first and EU nationals second. Therefore unless you're a graduate in an area where there is a labour problem, or unless you're willing to work in a menial task that Cypriots aren't willing to perform, I doubt on the basis of your skills alone that you'd be permitted to remain once your student visa expires.
However, I would refer you either to your international student advisor at your college or to the Ministry of Interior's Immigration Department for concrete advice on this.
