South Ossetia and Abkazia

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Postby Bananiot » Thu Aug 28, 2008 11:05 pm

Did you know that Bouboulina was Albanian and that in fact many war lords were Albanians and some even Turkish speakers who fought for social justice? Did you know that the so called "hidden schools" never existed?

RichardB, do you find my quote offensive? How surprising. Do you also find some of your compatriots comments offensive? I suggest you read O's and others' anti T/TC comments before you condemn me.

My comments had nothing to do with your likes or dislikes miltiades we all have different opinions re politics and the way forward for Cyprus

In your opinion the views of O and Gr are not valid or the right way for Cyprus to procede in the future thats fine it is your right to say this

But the above quoted posts by yourself and Deniz do not address this issue at all they are nerely the rantings of people who obviously have nothing better to do than pick on and abuse a lady who has expressed opinions which you do not agree with.

Yes the Turks are occupying 40% of Cyprus and the settlers and troops outnumber the TCs , The government is just a puppet of Turkey so do you really think that the TCs will have a say in the removal of Turkish Troops?

Oracle, please wake up. I was not complaining about the Greek struggle for Independence. I merely suggested that enough blood has been shed. I waste mytime with you. I think you miss Cyprus. Get back where you need to dust the house down.

You first brought up Boumboulina ... coward!

The Turks can forget paying for propaganda ... you do it for free, traitor!

Laskarina Boumboulina > Yet another heroic woman of the Greek uprising for freedom. Boumboulina came from a rich family from the island of Spetse. This ‘Archontissa’ (Lady) of Spetse used her wealth to build a navy and became one of the most famous leading figures in the Greek War of Independence. After the success of the revolution in Peloponnesos and Sterea Ellada, the uprising spread in the islands. Spetse was the first of the islands to join the revolution and this was mainly due to Boumboulina’s leadership and courage. The example of Spetse was followed by many other islands and therefore the freeing of the Island of Spetse was one of the initial major steps towards victory for the Greeks. Thereafter Boumboulina, with her fleet took part in many naval battles and dominated the Aegean creating probelms to the, by far superior, Turkish fleet.

I see the two old men of the forum can do all my talking for me whilst I am away ... putting ideas out there of things I have not said or done, or grown!

Then get high on discussing me amongst themselves.

Shame on Miltiades for feeding off the hype of a Turk. Deniz has you so wrapped around his Turkish fingers Miltiades, if it was not for your age, I would have felt so ashamed of you pretending to be a fellow Paphitian!

The men of Paphos do not behave like you I am pleased to acknowledge.

What a knight in shining armour you are becomming. What lady are you talking about? Obviously you have never read her unladylike abusive language she uses. Probably all deleted by now. When she spits you would praise the Lord and say thank you for the rain. Lady indeed.
