When Obama becomes President and I become the Pope then we can add the vatican as one of our staunch supporters !!
Miltiades became pope after the Roman emperor Galerius had passed an edict of toleration ending the persecution of Greek Cypriots !
What do you want to wager that Obama will be the next President? Personally I would love to see you dressed as the Pope

Turkey - faced with Kyprianou's ultimatum, the public sentiment in Turkey shifting away from the EU, and now Russia recognizing South Ossetia and Abkazia which are both entities which it had invaded in response to a Georgian attack (sound familiar?) - is going to be taking a far more jaundiced view of things. If things don't settle down, hopes of acheiving anything concrete in the upcoming negotiations will dwindle to zero...

personally, i dislike McCain, Obama looks more energetic and it looks like he will turn his course into internal affairs leaving his VP to do the dirty job outside

Personally I do not dislike Obama or McCain , I also think that Obama would make a good president , but somehow reality sets in and tells me that a substantial number of Democrats will not vote for him based purely on colour , the question is how substantial is this number . Commentators punters are putting out a figure of about 35% , if this was to be so McCain will win by a landslide . No one has yet come up with a figure as how many Republicans will vote for Obama. As far as I'm concerned the result of the USA election is a foregone conclusion.
