Listen, it's a brillant cause. Hope it goes well. But, you should know that Greeks will try to get rid of Turkish Cypriots at every opportunity they have. They don't want you on this island, they don't see you as Cypriot. They see you, like how we see the garasakals in Cyprus.
They didn't even want us to get 29%.

In the event of peace on the Island, isn't it likely that it will be removed? Just like most of the Soldiers? At least this rally will show the Goverments what the people want.

Surely you realise now Tess that many of the people on this forum would prefer to puff out their chests and spout hatred than to actually get off their backsides and do something constructive?

useless meetings with a couple of hundred people under the illuminance of the picasso is not what exactly what I would call a peace demonstration...rather I would call it a pissing in the wind demonstration...

You want something constructive/meaningfull...demonstrate for the removal of the damn eyesore...ffs...

turkey have made it clear their idea of solution is two SEPERATE STATES... nicosia has had to threaten ankara with veto'ing their eu talks if they dont help for peace and a united island.

depends who you speak to though not everyone feels the same, i am sure there are some turks in the north who feel they want two states and far away from cypriots...

same as in the south some who like you say want to "get rid" of you all in the north back to turkey and some who really dont care, and others who even have turk friends...bf and gf...
