'NORTH CYPRUS EXISTS RALLY'

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Postby detailer » Fri May 27, 2005 8:11 pm

We can not have direct trade using southern ports. That is not possible because of the physcological and practical barriers put by GC. If it was already possible, why wouldnt have we done it? I am sure you know this very well.

More powerful get more.
Didnt GC also try to get more?

What do you mean?[/quote]

I mean Turks get more, Because Turkey was more powerful than Greece.
If Greece was more powerful than Turkey, Greeks would get more.
Most probably all of Cyprus.
Politics are not related with math.

My friend! Unfortunately I am not a psychologist to solve your psychological difficulties. Find one that can do this for you and then try again.

Practical barriers? Such as?

Therefore you mean you want to take 36% of Cyprus and run away.
Is that correct?

Kifeas,

You seem to be a reosanable and peaceful person but unfortunately what you talk most of the time is not constructive just senseless. Again I am asking you. If it was already possible, why wouldnt have we done it?

Because your major concern is not to end the so-called isolation, but rather to score a political goal against the GC side. You want direct trade as a first step towards your envisioned Taiwan model of sate and then later to use your new status as step stone for recognition. That is why you drag your feet and claim that the green line regulation for direct trade through the RoC ports is not working; so that the E.U. will bow and let you have direct trade. Your major objective is to score a political goal and not trade it self.

There was another proposal to give Varoshia back to the GC side (it is a ghost and a useless town for you anyway,) and in exchange to let the Famagusta harbour open for direct trade under the authority if the E.U. commission. You refused this offer again because your actual concern is not direct trade it self but to score a political goal.
