I didn't really care what this particular person says. I just wanted to record the fact that he made a posting in Turkish without providing a translation.

Thanks anyway!

In other words you were being spiteful... would you have pointed this out so clearly if the expression had been in Greek? :?

That's a cop out reply and you know it. You know it in exactly the same way you would know it I or any other had replied to your 'if the number of mainland settlers in the north had been 500,000' had been 'but they were not 500,000'.

All the above said with due respect of course ;)

That's exactly how someone(s) have replied to me when I asked this hypothtical question about the number of settlers.

Anyway, my reply was not a cop out at all. If you read all the discussion you will understand what I mean.
And a tip to help you. My motive for pointing out this issue was not due to the fact that it was in Turkish but.....

So you have not seen any untranslated Greek text posted here that you have not commented on in a similar way?

Firstly i am pleased and privilaged to be a part of this forum

I would just like to state the simple facts

1. GC do not wish to live as equals with the TC the referandom proved this.

2 We have peace and freedom on the island since 1974

3. Its time to recognise the TC as equal partners of Cyprus and recognise the TC existance.

4. Two equal stateds as status quo
