'NORTH CYPRUS EXISTS RALLY'

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Main_Source wrote:The only reason for this march is provocation...there are parts of London which are more populated by Turks than GC...but they chose to start the march in the middle of currently the largest Greek Cypriot population in the UK. Yes, there are Turkish Cypriots in Palmers Green...but there are a lot more Greek Cypriots.

It's just like painting the 'TRNC' flag on mountain sides or planting those bullshit Ataturk slogans at the checkpoints...just to try and rub the invasion in GC faces.

Looking at the organisors and the bullshit ATCA news website they write for, you dont have to be a genius to see that this is meant to start some kind of animosity to try and back their arguments that the two communities cant live together.

These people are going to march in front of GC who were forced out of there homes and say the invasion was a 'peace operation'. Dont expect GC to take more shit and have the boasting of the invasion pushed in our faces.

I've already seen some dickhead TC kids waving the 'TRNC' flag infront of a GC cafe in Palmers Green, which a majority of its memebers come from occupied Famagusta...and that was only after Greece drawing 0-0 with Turkey in a Football match.

Let's see what provocation is caused.

At least no dickhead TC kids will attack greek flag hopefully.

them kids deserved to be beaten. i notice the kids did not have enough guts to wave it outside a place where the people in there were not over 80. unnecessary provacation that will cause tension between the two comunities that have peacefully living side by side for many years

No-one deserves to be beaten and no-one has the right to be provocative. I fail to see the point of such marches beyond racking up tension where it doesn't exist. Does anyone really want images on the TV news of GC and TC fighting in the streets of London??? That would be a great positive image to shout out to the world... look, we can't even live together here peacefully any more. It would be a propaganda victory for those espousing division.

Cannedmoose,

Ok, I see your point but you don't think that TC have a right of demonstration as well?

you have the right to protests, sing, dance or do whatever you like its a free country. but does it has to be done in an area than could easily turn into a huge fight due to the high numbers of greeks and turks that will be there. an equal amount of publicity will be found somewhere else.

Detailer, of course TC have a right to march...but you know full well why this march is starting where it is.

Admit it and dont act dumb.

The marches for the freedom of Cyprus have always been in the centre of London.
