Rowing will be at Eton Dorney near Windsor
Go on the London 2012 website for more info
BubblesI can your thinking RichardB- but athletes from all around the UK will be competing - not just London - so as some listeners suggested, the committee should reflect this.
I would hope people from all over the world will be competing bubbles but one would not expect the London games commitee to reflect this in their advertising - what do you expect shots of Kurium ampitheater above the banner 'Welcome to London 2012'
That would please a lot of the English Cypriots out there Richard
As several callers pointed out, their countries will be also competing under the GB flag (i.e. Eire, Wales and Scotland) - not just the English, so why can't they be included?

Now then bubbles listen to me
The flag the British team will be competing under is the Flag of GB ie the union flag-NOT the flag of England OK This flag is made up of the flags of England ,Scotland ,Wales and NI
Eire is not part of GB OK (Tess will not be pleased with You ) Northern Ireland (Ulster)is
Which part of "IT is the City that hosts the Games NOT the country" dont you understand

St David's Cross (for Wales) does not appear as Wales had been annexed by the English at the time the Union flag was designed and was considered to be part of England rather than a separate territory.

What about the London tourist chiefs showing a promotional video featuring a picture of Myra Hindley during their post-Beijing Games party.
The video featured a notorious painting of the Moors murderer by artist Marcus Harvey, which shows her face made up of thousands of children's handprints.
What sort of message is that sending to the world??
Perhaps they'll invite Gary Glitter to manage the creche at the 2012!
