The inter-communal conflict was not started in 1960 or 1963. It was started in 1958 and is the TCs who started it. Here is the video again, since apparently you refuse to watch it:



Furthermore in that conflict both sides had an about equal number of victims, a few 100s each. So why do you blame only GCs for it?

But that was not the only conflict we had with the Turks. What about the centuries of oppression against us? What about the most recent 34 years. Why you only know about a single decade and you ignore all the other crimes of Turks against us?

I do not deny that TC suffered for about a decade and had some casualties. Do you deny that GCs suffered and had way more casualties not only during that same decade, but also before and after that decade as well?

So I ask you again: What is your point? That Cypriots have X amount of blame and should be punished while Turks who have 100X amount of blame should not be punished but should be rewarded on our loss? That is your point?

My point is that both sides comitteed atrocities, and we should stop seeing things one-sided. U may argue that i only talk about the crimes we comittee, but i have a reason in doing so, cause u guys never accepted that we ever harmed anyone, or never heard about it. I want to point out our responsibilities for what happened and this is needed in order for us to understand what kind of solution can be achieved.

Just make a small research about what i mentioned above.

And again , i ask u, who is a murderer, one who kills 7 or one who kills 12???? My opinion, is that they are both murderers.

pantheman, the reason is to convince the Cypriots to capitulate to the Turkish demands. Trying to convince the Cypriots that they actually deserve to be punished, while the foreign invader and their pawns in Cyprus deserve to be rewarded on the loss of Cypriots.

Cause in order to understand the cyprus problem better i need to know the story from both sides and also in order not to have illusions and the wrong impression of 100% right on our side, as well to accept our responsibilities, which all this will lead to a solution that can be accepted from both sides, or else if we continue to see the whole story one-sided we will never be satisfied by any kind of solution and we will have the illusion of absolute right.

Also learning the history better make someone realise how the international politics and interest work so u will be able to cope with them better.
