I'm not sure but maybe you are referring to this post I made on another forum which I occaisionally frequent?

I've been wanting to write this for a long time

But I thought maybe I was being paranoid!

But I'm getting more convinced that CF is being 'used' as a subtle propagander tool by the Turks/TCs

The invites for dinner, The invites to march for peace, The aren't I a good type of fella playing games with the ladies,

The meetings between certain members, The flirting etc etc etc

It seems to me that the hardline approach did not work and that a new 'soft sell' technique is being used and people are falling for it!!

Maybe i am being paranoid

RichardB, can you tell me if you have included me as one of the 'certain members' in this post please?

RichardB

I asked the question as I wanted to make sure before I gave you my reply. I obviously cannot comment for others! (Though this has been done by other forumers in the past!)

You will have to excuse the delay - as I do have a life outside of the forum and am not here 24/7! God forbid if I had planned to go out for the day, had a siesta in this heat, or worse, my server had gone down!

When I first joined this forum I wanted to remain completely anonymous -not for anything I write - more owing to my nature. As time went on and postings crossed, rapports were built and I found myself with several new forum friends! As time progressed, PM's, e-mails etc spread as did my new friends! Next step - meetings!

So far I have met (in no particular order) 4 Cypriots (GC or TC? just for the record, there were 2 of each!) one Irish and their delightful families! At the latest meeting, several conversations went on and I can honestly say that everyone had a marvelous day. We spent the time learning about each other and our families - politics and religion were not broached - though food was mentioned quite a few times! Nobody tried to influence me - besides "This lady is not for sale"

Are you saying that if you had been on island and were invited you would not have attended?

I intend to follow this trend and will soon be breakfasting with at least two forumers, though I hope more will join us :)

You have formed your own opinions Richard, and yes, you must stand by your convictions, but to go and slag this forum and its members on another forum is, in my mind despicable and low. :x

How many requests have you read on here not to do the very thing you have done - to demean others when they are unable to defend themselves! Not paranoia Richard - stupidity IMO!

Just for your information - I am an outrageous flirt
